Higher Apprenticeship Development Coach (Assessor) – Health and Social Care

Wales England Care is seeking an experienced Development Coach (Assessor) for Higher Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care. We are a family run training provider, delivering apprenticeships in various locations in England (South West, Midlands, London). We are looking for coaches who are motivational, engaging and inspiring, demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, whilst incorporating the effective use of digital technology.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced development coach to join our team:
Duties and responsibilities of the role
· Delivering Health and Social Level 4/5 qualifications/standards and Functional Skills in England
· Building and developing relationships with Employers
· Maintaining documentation on learner's progression.
· Planning and implementing learner progress reviews
· To ensure all learners receive robust quality assurance feedback in a timely manner
· To adapt delivery style to suit the needs of the individual learner/s and employer/s
· To effectively manage cohorts of learners towards business KPIs and standards ensuring outcomes are achieved timely
· To ensure that all reporting and recording relating to learner administration and assessment is organised and conducted as agreed
· To report all learner safeguarding issues to the authorised Safeguarding Officer
· To attend team meetings, monthly 1:1’s and annual appraisals
· To actively engage in Continuous Professional Development
· Communicate effectively across the organisation at all levels
The Person
We are looking for candidates who are:
· Qualified as an assessor – either D32/33/A1 or TAQA
· Experienced at working at a management level within a care environment
· Hold relevant qualifications gained within the care sector
· Confident communicators
· Passionate about learning and skills development
· Highly professional
· Resilient, with a ‘can do’ attitude
· Self-motivated, and able to manage own performance
· Driven with a will to succeed
· Team players with a positive approach
· Strong in their administration and organisation skills
· Digitally literate and confident in using e-portfolio and IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Benefits
· 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5:30pm)
· 20 days annual leave plus all bank holidays

· Option to balance between working from home (digitally) and on employer sites
· Business mileage rate paid at 40p per mile for the first 10,000 miles

Salary: from £28,000 to £30,000 pa - dependent on qualifications and experience
