About Siobhan
Siobhan Carey - Director of CareI have worked in the Social Care Sector since 1994. My career started as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities and alongside that I also worked as a residential childcare officer with the local authority. After a few years of juggling the two I made my choice to commit to adult social care.
I have been fortunate enough to be able to work in and manage a variety of service settings including supported living, floating support, hospital discharge and homecare. The last six years of my career in Social Care has been within a senior role and I have been involved in transformation programmes, organisational change, budgets, business planning, performance management and writing tenders for business growth. Following school, my education has mainly been vocational based including Leadership and Management Diplomas. In 2015/16 I also studied “Vanguard people centred services” with Buckingham and Kingston Universities. Achieving “What Matters” and maintaining a high quality service for people who receive care and support services is my passion and will be at the heart of everything we do within our service. |
