Dear Diane my father Mr Francis Shorney has been having Carers 4 times a day for several weeks from WE Care.
I am writing to ask if you could pass on to all Carers who have looked after my father our sincere thanks for their kindness, compassion, respectfulness and help during this difficult period before moving into residential care today.
Over the last few weeks your Carers have been a life line for him and definitely for my husband and I.
My father is a very proud man and accepting care has been difficult for him but each carer who came to him made him feel comfortable and treated him with great respect. I know he looked forward to each visit.
We only knew yesterday afternoon he was moving today so he wasn’t able to thank his Carers.
It is obvious that your Carers are well trained and enjoy their work. A smile goes a long way when you are living alone. Caring with compassion is a very demanding and often difficult job. Requiring a great deal of patience and understanding. Each carer demonstrated these skills.
I was very impressed with documentation regarding checks for clients during Carers visit. Very reassuring for families.
I would definitely recommend your Carers to anyone needing care.
