Apprentices should never be financially responsible for their training, this is fully covered by the employer. There are three main ways to fund an apprenticeship, and our team is here to help you identify the most cost-effective option for your business:

  APPRENTICESHIP LEVY

If your organisation has an annual payroll over £3 million, you are required to pay into the Apprenticeship Levy. These funds can be managed through the Apprenticeship Service and used to pay for apprentice training and assessment. The government will also add a 10% top-up to your Levy account.

  GOVERNMENT CO-INVESTMENT

For employers with a wage bill under £3 million, the government will fund up to 95% of the apprenticeship training costs. You’ll only be responsible for a maximum of 5%, depending on eligibility.

  LEVY GIFTING

This allows another organisation to cover 100% of the training costs by transferring unused funds from their own Apprenticeship Levy account. We work closely with several partners who are actively supporting apprenticeships in this way.

We’re here to make apprenticeship funding simple. Our team will guide you through the available options and help secure the best possible funding route for your business.
