The Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship is designed for professionals who manage care services, either in the community, residential, or other healthcare settings. The apprenticeship aims to develop leaders who can inspire and guide their teams to make positive impacts on individuals facing various challenges, such as physical, emotional, or intellectual difficulties. These leaders play a crucial role in ensuring that care services are safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of those they support.
Apprenticeship assessment will include the completion of a professional discussion and an observation of working practices.
Both assessments can be completed online or in-person. These components will be graded with a Pass, Merit, or Distinction. The apprentice must complete the Care Certificate and the Diploma. They will also work towards Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English, if applicable.
