Wales England Care Rated “Good” Following Latest CIW Inspection

We are pleased to share the results of our most recent inspection by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), which took place between 4–10 November 2025. Following the inspection, Wales England Care Ltd has been rated Good across all key areas: Well-being, Care & Support, and Leadership & Management.

The inspection highlighted our commitment to supporting people to live independent, fulfilling lives in their own homes and supported living settings across Gwent. Inspectors found that people are encouraged to make choices about their day-to-day lives and are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

People receiving support told inspectors they were happy with their care and felt listened to. Personalised care plans reflect each individual’s life history, preferences, and goals, ensuring support is tailored to what matters most to them

CIW reported that people experience a strong sense of well-being through care that prioritises choice, respect, and personal dignity. Individuals are supported by familiar staff, helping to build positive relationships and enabling staff to recognise changes in health or well-being quickly.

The inspection praised our staff for their professionalism, empathy, and commitment to safeguarding. Staff told inspectors they feel supported by management, receive regular supervision, and enjoy their roles. All eligible staff are registered with Social Care Wales, reinforcing our commitment to safe, accountable care delivery

CIW found that leadership and governance arrangements effectively support the day-to-day running of the service. Quality assurance systems are in place, including six-monthly quality of care reports and regular audits, to help drive continuous improvement.

We are proud of the positive feedback received during this inspection and remain committed to building on these strong foundations. Our focus continues to be on delivering compassionate, person-centred care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being for everyone we support.
